Sankalp Patra-direct air connectivity to America, Canada, Australia & UK assured by BJP’s Sri Anandpur Sahib Candidate

BJP Candidate from Sri Anandpur Sahib Constituency, Dr. Subhash Sharma, unveiled his vision document (Sankalp Patra) for the all-inclusive development of the Constituency, here today. After releasing the Sankalp Patra, Dr. Sharma said that his vision envisages all-round development of all the assembly segments falling in the Sri Anandpur Sahib Constituency. “If given a chance to represent this constituency, the implementation of the Sankalp Patra is bound to make Sri Anandpur Sahib one of the best constituencies of Punjab”, he asserted.
Highlighting the foremost priorities listed in the Sankalp Patra, Dr. Sharma said that he vows to make Sri Anandpur Sahib Constituency a tourism hub, besides ensuring direct air connectivity to America, Canada, Australia and the UK. “Apart from making Mohali a hub of the International IT Industry, bringing a big industrial project to Sri Anandpur Sahib would be on my wish list”, he said, while adding, “Apart from the development, eradicating drug menace and making Sri Anandpur Sahib Gangster free would also be on top of my priority.”
Giving further details about the highlights of the Sankalp Patra regarding the works he intends to do in nine assembly segments falling in Sri Anandpur Sahib Constituency, Dr. Sharma said that to promote sports in Mohali, a Volleyball and Football Sports Academy will be established and Kharar will be developed as the world’s largest e-sports arena. He further said that a central university will be set up in Ropar, which will serve as a research centre and revival of ancient musical instruments, artefacts and Punjabi literature.
“Thousands of vacancies in Bhakra Beas Management Board (BBMB) and National Fertilizer Limited (NFL) at Sri Anandpur Sahib will be filled immediately. Also, in order to revive the completely ruined industry of Sri Anandpur Sahib, a special package will be brought from the Centre. Apart from this, the road from Sri Anandpur Sahib to Banga will be widened and converted into 4-lane”, Dr. Sharma assured in the Sankalp Patra.
Listing an important project, Dr. Sharma said that a bridge will be constructed over the river Sutlej at Sri Chamkaur Sahib, which will connect Machhiwara with Balachaur. “Two major roads from Morinda to Sri Fatehgarh Sahib and Ropar will be named after the Vadde Sahibzadas Baba Ajit Singh and Baba Jujhar Singh Ji. Furthermore, to pay true tribute to Chhote Sahibzadas and Mata Gujri Ji’s martyrdom, Morinda’s railway station will be named after Mata Gujri Ji. Besides, in memory of the Chhote Sahibzadas, two commemorative gates will also be constructed at Morinda”, mentioned the Sankalp Patra.
Dr. Sharma also announced that in the name of S. Bhagat Singh, at Nawanshahr, a Government Medical College and a Skill Development Center will be established. He added that the incomplete construction of the Kandi Canal, which is a lifeline for the people of the Doaba, will be completed. Talking about Balachaur, he said that limited road routes of the Balachaur assembly segment will be expanded and also connected with the rail link to provide proper transportation facilities to the public. “For better health facilities in Balachaur, a big hospital will be built for the local populace”, he added.
Dr. Sharma said, “In Balongi and Mohali, the kuccha nullah would be made pucca (concrete) and the drinking water problem would be solved. Also, after studying all the technical aspects, the defunct sewage system of Kharar that has become a headache for the entire constituency will be laid afresh.” He added that a special centre for organic and natural farming will be established on the holy land of Sri Anandpur Sahib, which will act as a centre for research and development and an industrial interface.
Referring to Banga in Sankalp Patra, Dr. Sharma said that Banga will be established as a world-class B-spoke shoe manufacturing centre and the BJP government at the centre will help the market accessibility of the products manufactured by this centre. “Rail connectivity will be enhanced by connecting Banga and Nawanshahr with a rail link”, he promised. Dr. Sharma concluded by stating that through the industrialization of the assembly constituency Banga, it will be made a hub of the plywood industry, which will create business and employment opportunities in the entire constituency.
