120 got Appointment Letters in State Level Mega Job Fair

The 2nd state level mega job fair concluded today at Govt. Polytechnic College for Girls Patiala with the coordination of District Bureau of Employment Generation and training Patiala and Board of apprentship Training New Delhi . It was conducted in two phases , today was the third day .
DC Patiala Kumar Amit also visited the job fair and appreciated the role of Principal Govt. Polytechnic for providing a common platform for jobs seekers .
Media In charge Er Gurbakshish Singh said that , In these 3 days around 2800 candidates appeared for jobs , out of these 700 got short listed around 120 appeared got job letters on the Spot .
Himanshu Rajan , Assistant Director Board of Apprenticeship training New Delhi promised support to the college for future such job fairs . He said that it was a first for a polytechnics in Punjab to hold a job fair of such magnitude with big companies like Fedral Mogal , John Deere , M&M , Jindal Electricals , Swaraj Tractors Ltd , Swaraj AutoMotiv, Gabrial India Ltd., Berkley Builders, TVS Motors , ICICI Bank , Codreburn , Rap itech and etc.
Er. Ravinder Singh Hundal , Principal announced that another job fair will be conducted soon in june 2018 . He thanked the district administration for their support especially Gurmeet Kaur Shergill Deputy Director, District Bureau of Employments Generation and training , Patiala ,College Staff and NSS Volunteers for dedicated support to conducting the job fair.
