18th Mela Gadri Babaian Da at Fresno ,California, USA
Fresno-Indo American Heritage Forum, Fresno, California, USA is going to organize 18th Mela Gadri Babian Da at Central High School on Sunday from 12 noon to 6 pm (local time)
Gurdip Singh Gill, President of the organizing committee said that “our organization has been working with dedication to making all the arrangements for the Mela and looking forward to welcoming the community on Sunday at Central High School to celebrate the struggles and victories of our community.” He further said that Dr Harsinder Kaur is specially coming from Patiala, Punjab, India.
Dr Harshinder Kaur and Karnail Singh Acharwal will be the chief Guest and key speaker of this function. Punjabi Singh Jeeta Gill , Harjit and Raj Brar will gave musical performance. The other attraction of the function will be a Bhangra performance by GHG Dance and Sangeet Academy and a special performance by Karman Punjabi School, said Gill.
Navdeep Singh Dhaliwal Vice President of the forum thanked all the sponsors, with whom support the forum is going to organize this function.
Surinder Mandali, Secretary of the forum disclosed that all the students who got 4.0 grade will also be honoured. He further said that students with 4.0 grade should register at [email protected].
Kulvir Singh Hayer, Media Secy of the forum informed that the stage will be conducted by Asha Sharma.
Jaswant Singh Mann treasure of the forum said that the entry and parking at the event is free.He further said the Tea and snacks will also be served as free.
Dr Harshinder Haur said that by organizing these types of functions, will provide our community residing away from their roots, is a wonderful opportunity to learn more about the rich heritage and traditions of our culture.
