4 Punjab police officials along with 1036 awarded with Gallantry Medals on Republic Day

Punjab police Assistant Inspector General (AIG) Gurmeet Singh Chuhan (IPS) has been awarded with Police Medal for Gallantry. Similarly Inspector Bikramjit Singh Brar (now DSP) with 1st Bar to Police Medal for Gallantry, SI (LR) Balvinder Singh with 1st Bar to Police Medal, ASI (LR) Kirpal Singh has also been awarded with Police Medal for Gallantry on the occasion of Republic Day 2020.
They were awarded for doing an exemplary work and killing dreaded gangsters Vicky Gounder and Prema Lahoria along with other gallant work.

President’s Police Medal

The medal is awarded annually on Republic Day and Independence Day.
