7th casualty in Punjab due to COVID 19

Punjab’s Special chief Secretary KBS Sidhu IAS has declared the 7th casualty in Punjab due to COVID 19.
As per Sidhu, a resident of Sujjanpur in Pathankot district died ,today evening. She was of 75 years of age and was referred to Amritsar hospital, yesterday. Her husband had already tested positive, yesterday.
They are indirectly related to Hazuri Ragi Padma Shri Bhai Sahib Nirmal Singh Khalsa. She had multiple other medical problems.
He also informed that a new positive case came from Kapurthala today evening. The total positive cases rose to 69.
Earlier in the day the health department officials declared 3 new positive cases from Punjab, today. The total tally rose to 68 cases in Punjab. A positive case from SBS Nagar (Nawanshahr) is reported to have been cured
One positive case from Ludhiana died.She was of 69 years of age , a resident of Mohali and was admitted at Fortis Mohali.She was also suffering from heart disease,high BP, sugar.
Three news persons were reported positive with 1 each case coming from Ludhiana, SAS nagar (Mohali) and Barnala.
All close contacts of positive cases in isolation.
