The consummation of the 8th INSPIRE Internship Science Camp (22nd to 26th November, 2017) at Asian Educational Institute, Patiala was led by the Chief Guest-Dr. Kulbir Singh Dhillon, Dean College Development Council, Punjabi University, Patiala. He firmly stated the importance of 3D’s in students life: Discipline, Determination, Dedication. Further, appreciated the efforts of the Institute to motivate XI standard students towards creativity innovative ideas.
On the Second, Third & Fourth day various mentors appeared on the INSPIRE Stage with their innovations. Dr. Prikshit Bansal, NIPER Mohali spoke on “Water Purification”; while Dr. G.S. Sodhi, Associate Professor SGTB Khalsa College, Delhi delivered lecture on “Role of Chemistry in Managing Crime Scene”. On the third day Dr. Praveen P. Balgir Professor (Retd.) Punjabi University, Patiala delivered lecture on “Biotechnology”. The fourth day began with a lecture on Mathematics by Dr. Rangan K. Guha, Prof. of Mathematics, SLIET, Longowal;
Dr. S.S. Kanwar, Director Research, CSK Himachal Pradesh Agricultural University, Palampur enlightened the students on the Value of Stem Cells. On the fifth day, Dr. S.P.S. Bedi, Executive Director, School of Business Studies, Chandigarh University, Chandigarh delivered a motivational lecture and focused on the identification of capabilities in our lives because passion leads to outstanding results & failures are the stepping stones to success.
Also, the valediction began with Dr. G.S. Batra, Professor Incharge, Examination Branch, Punjabi University, Patiala who apprised the students of his personal experiences of India & overseas and concluded that India is known for inculcating high moral values among students. The best camper award was awarded to Sukhpreet Singh (boy) from Govt. Sen. Sec. School, Civil Lines, Patiala and Tripatdeep Kaur (Girl) from Mukat Public School, Patiala.
College students who bagged position in various events were also honoured: Payal Garg-B.A. 2nd Year 1st prize in Inter College Declamation Contest organised by DMW, Patiala; Ms. Meenu Kumari-M.A. (Pbi.)-2nd Year 1st prize in Inter-College Weight Lifting contest organised Punjabi University, Patiala; Mr. Simranjeet Singh-B.A. 3rd Year, 1st prize in Hind India Taekwondo Cup organised by Rajasthan University, Jaipur; A team of 3 students namely Balwinder Kaur-M.A. English-1st year, Payal Garg-B.A. 2nd Year, Harleen Kaur-B.A. (Hons) in English-2nd Year won 2nd Position in Poetic Recitation & Poetic Quiz Competition organised by Khalsa College, Patiala. In academic Ms. Simranjeet Kaur bagged 1st Position in University in B.A. (Hons.) in English Semester-6th with 74.3% and overall 4th Position with 71.4% in University.
Tarsem Saini, Chairman Asian Educational Institute, Patiala appreciated the efforts of the Principals, Teachers of various Schools in making INSPIRE a great success. He advised the students to be inspired to adopt patience and perseverance to be successful Dr. M.S. Pabla, Director-cum-Principal applauded the students for their overwhelming response during the camp and aspired them to be more disciplined and confident in life.

Students appreciated the INSPIRE program in which scientists of high repute, made their presence and clarified the queries of the students and share innovative ideas. Parents & Teachers of the students appreciated the labs & infrastructure of the College and it is situated in an eco-friendly, environment
