Patiala Management Association hosts informative session of Himanshu Arora on Will writing, family trust formation & asset allocation

The Patiala Management Association successfully organized an insightful Knowledge Session on “Estate planning, Legacy planning & Asset Allocation” led by Himanshu Arora – Regional Head – Nippon India Mutual Funds for the members, residents of the royal city Patiala. It was well attended by the members, guests at Swagath Banquet, Patiala.
The session aimed to educate attendees to know the untold concepts and facts about Will writing, family trust formation & Asset allocation.
Sanjay Gupta, Secretary Patiala Management Association and executive team welcomed the key note speaker Hiamnshu Arora and delivered the welcome address. Advisor Parvesh Mangla inducted new members into PMA family.
Before the beginning of the session, CA Ajay Alipuria shared his noble cause “Donate Complete Education to Atleast One.”
Later, key speaker Hiamnshu Arora discussed about importance of will writing & types of wills. He informed the audience that “in India lacs of cases are pending in courts and crores of unclaimed money is lying in different investments an avenue due to poor or no will planning leading to family disputes.”
Arora advocated making a will or forming a trust for smooth transferring of wealth to next generations. He also talked about the way a person’s wealth is transferred and distributed among his family members or legal heir If he dies intestate or dies without writing a will as per Hindu Succession act or Indian Succession Act. “
He shared his expertise on crucial topics on Asset allocation “he suggested not to put all eggs in one basket “ and advised to diversify investments in different asset classes like equity , debt , property , FDs , gold , international equity etc. To diversify investments and to create long term wealth he also discussed a popular investment tool that is Mutual Funds.
The event was well-received by participants, providing valuable insights and knowledge about consequences of no Estate planning, legacy planning or making no will or Trust and lending their heirs in legal battle.
