Teghbir Singh gets place in Asia and India Books of records

Hailing from Rupnagar ( Punjab ) , Teghbir Singh etches his name in the History as his feat gets a place in the Asia Book of Records (ABR) and India Book of records (IBR) .

As per the recorded Tablet of ABR and IBR, Teghbir holds the record of being the youngest in the country and Asia to scale Mount Kilimanjaro and Mount Everest Base camp in 1 year“

Teghbir Singh was honored at Head office of Asia Book Of Records and India Book of records located at Faridabad , NCR Delhi .

Teghbir scaled Mt Kilimanjaro ( Highest Peak of African Continent ) in August 2024 . He had reached Mount Everest Base camp in Nepal in April 2024 .

Both his achievements found their place in the ABR and IBR respectively . He achieved this feat at the age of 5 years .

It is notable that Mount Kilimanjaro is located in Tanzania at a staggering height of more than 19340 ft (5895 Metres)

Teghbir started the Trek to Mount Kilimanjaro on August 18 and walked all along to reach the Uhuru peak, highest point of the mountain, on 23 August 2024.

It is worth mentioning here that it is a low Oxygen trek and one needs preparation to tackle problems associated with Altitude Sickness. However, conquering all these challenges, he finally reached the summit, normal temperature of which is – 10 Celsius, and fulfilled his dream.

Teghbir singh attributed his success to his coach Bikramjit singh Ghuman (Retired Handball coach ) , family and his Alma Mater , Shiwalik Public School, Ropar .

Teghbir singh is a 1st standard student of Shiwalik Public School, Ropar.
