In a significant step towards holistic education Police DAV Public School Patiala is proud to introduce skill-based subjects as part of its curriculum. The newly introduced subjects includes Artificial Intelligence, Financial Literacy and Mass Media, which will help students develop critical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and hands-on expertise. These subjects align with the National Education Policy (NEP) and emphasize experiential learning to bridge the gap between academics and real-world applications.
Speaking on this development, Rajwant Singh, Principal ,said, “We believe in nurturing future-ready students. By incorporating skill-based learning, we are empowering them with knowledge and competencies that will open diverse career paths.”
The school will offer these subjects to students from 6 to 8 classes, with qualified faculty and state-of-the-art infrastructure to support practical learning. Workshops, industry interactions, and hands-on projects will be integral to this initiative.
