MRSPTU student excels at 38th National Youth Festival

Maharaja Ranjit Singh Punjab Technical University (MRSPTU), Bathinda, has made a mark on the national stage by securing third place in the collage-making competition at the 38th National Youth Festival, held at AMITY University, Noida.

Organized by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), the prestigious event saw participation from 148 universities across India, with over 2,500 students competing in various categories after excelling in their respective zonal competitions.

Bhinder Singh, a third-year Bachelor of Fine Arts student at MRSPTU, showcased his artistic talent in collage making competition and won a bronze medal, a trophy, and a certificate. His achievement follows his first-place win at the North Zone Youth Festival, hosted by Panjab University, Chandigarh, from February 1 to 5, 2025, reinforcing his consistent excellence in the field.

The university’s success was guided by Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Sandeep Kansal, along with Dr. Bhupinderpal Singh (Director, Sports and Youth Welfare) and Dr. Gagandeep Kaur (Cultural Coordinator), whose mentorship played a key role in the team’s performance.

Vice Chancellor Dr. Kansal congratulated Bhinder Singh and praised the Directorate of Sports and Youth Welfare for their efforts in nurturing student talent. University officials also felicitated Bhinder Singh for bringing national recognition to MRSPTU.
