School of Management Studies, Punjabi University organizing 5-Day Multidisciplinary Faculty Development Programme

The School of Management Studies, Punjabi University, Patiala, is organizing a 5-Day Multidisciplinary Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on the theme ‘Sustainable Skills, Strategies, and Solutions for India 2047’ from 21st to 25th April 2025.
The FDP aims to bring together academicians, researchers, and professionals from diverse disciplines to deliberate on future-ready strategies that align with the vision of a sustainable and self-reliant India by 2047. Sessions will cover a wide range of topics including sustainability in education, innovation-led growth, policy foresight, digital transformation, and green entrepreneurship.
The inaugural session, scheduled for 21st April 2025 at 10:00 AM, will be graced by eminent dignitaries and subject experts.

Dr. Amar Inder Singh, Head of the Department, School of Management Studies, is steering the academic direction of the programme. The FDP is being convened by Dr. Ratinder Kaur, with coordination by Dr. Dhiraj Sharma, Dr. Parneet Kaur, and Dr. Ella Mittal.
The programme will feature keynote addresses, expert lectures, hands-on workshops, and interactive panel discussions. There are going to be fifteen sessions and each session will be conducted by different experts in domain. Every session will be of 90 minutes. Research scholars, academicians and industry professionals from across India are expected to participate and contribute to discussions on sustainable development and nation-building strategies. This Faculty Development Programme promises to be a vibrant platform for academic enrichment and collaborative learning, aligned with India’s aspirations for 2047.
