Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (DSGMC) elects new office bearers

In the bi-annual election of the office bearers of the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (DSGMC) held today at Gurudwara Rakabganj Sahib, New Delhi located headquarters the general house unanimously re-elected Harmeet Singh Kalka as President and  Jagdip Singh Kahlon as General Secretary.

Harvinder Singh KP has been elected as Vice President of the Gurudwara management committee,  Atma Singh Lubana as Junior Vice-president and  Jasmain Singh Noni has Joint Secretary.

Ten members from the general house have been inducted as members of the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (DSGMC) executive board. They are  Amarjit Singh Pinky,  Amarjit Singh Pappu (Fateh Nagar), Ranjit Kaur,  Sarvjit Singh Virk,  Balbir Singh (VivekVihar),  Jabir Singh Jassi,  Gurmeet Singh Bhatia,  Surjit Singh Jeeti,  Raminder Singh Sweeta and  Bhupinder Singh Bhullar.

Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (DSGMC) elects new office bearers.According to  Harmeet Singh the election was held unanimously as all the officer bearers and ten members of the executive body were elected unanimously and unopposed. “We followed the procedure for voting as laid down in the act that governs Delhi Gurudwara management Committee, and the entire proceedings were very smooth and held in peaceful manner”, informed  Kalka.

“In the fresh term that begins today we will take further dharamparchar and prasar campaigns for spread of our religious values, ethos and traditions”, said  Kalka. He also informed that the DSGMC is running education and health and medical services facilities in the service of humanity and will take forward these program

He also announced that 350th martyrdom day of ninth Master Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib that falls in November month will be commemorated with enthusiasm his message of universal brotherhood and sacrifice for other religion will be taken across the globe.
