‘Lean Start-Up’- Government Bikram College of Commerce organised special seminar for students

The Institutional Innovation Council of Government Bikram College of Commerce, Patiala organized an inspiring seminar under the guidance of college Principal Prof. (Dr) Kusum Lata on 21st August ,2025.
The topic of the seminar was on ‘Lean Start-Up’. The keynote speaker was Manik Raj Singla, a renowned Career Counsellor and Consultant with over 20 years of professional experience.
Addressing the students, Singla highlighted the importance of adopting innovative and practical approaches for turning fresh ideas into successful business ventures. He explained how the Lean Start-Up model helps young entrepreneurs minimize risks, test ideas quickly, and grow systematically. His interactive session motivated students to think creatively and explore entrepreneurship as a career option.
The seminar began with a warm inaugural welcome by Dr. Reetu Kapoor. The IIC members Dr Paramjit Kaur, Dr.Rajni Bala, Gazal Aggarwal and other faculty members and students actively participated in the discussion and expressed their appreciation for the valuable insights shared.
The event concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks delivered by Dr. Jyoti Tirthani, acknowledging the efforts of the speaker and the Institutional Innovation Council for organizing such a meaningful session.
