Punjab Government appoints Two New Additional Advocate-Generals

The Punjab Government has strengthened its legal team with the appointment of two new Additional Advocate Generals (AAGs), Advocates Rajiv Verma and Ferry Sofat. They have been inducted into the office of the Advocate General, Punjab. This appointment comes after the recent appointment of Maninderjit Singh Bedi as Advocate General in March 2025.
Both advocates will assume their roles with immediate effect. Their appointments are on a contractual basis for a period of one year, during which they will serve under the supervision and authority of the Advocate General, Punjab.
