Three AIIMS Bathinda Doctors Ranked Among World’s Top 2% Researchers

The All-India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Bathinda, has brought pride to Punjab and the nation, with three of its doctors, namely Dr. Paramdeep Singh (Radiology), Dr. Madhur Verma (Community and Family Medicine) and Dr. Mintu Pal (Pharmacology), earning a place in the prestigious “World’s Top 2% Scientists” list compiled by Stanford University, USA in collaboration with Elsevier. This ranking identifies leading researchers globally based on their citation impact, using data drawn from the Scopus database and a composite indicator (c-score).
This recognition follows a rigorous global assessment, taking into account multiple parameters, including research output, citation indices, and overall impact across disciplines. AIIMS Bathinda’s representation in this elite list underscores the institute’s commitment to high-quality research and its growing prominence on the international academic stage.
