Rotary Club Rupnagar organises Mega Medical Health Checkup Camp

Rotary Club Rupnagar in association with Fortis Hospital Mohali organized a multi-specialty medical health checkup camp at Sahibzada Jhujhar Singh Gurmat Missionary College of Village Chaunta Kala’n in Rupnagar. Camp was jointly inaugurated by Baba Sukhpal Singh of village Bhairon Majra, Sardar Joginder Singh Chairman of the college & Past Rotary Governor Dr R S Parmar. Chairman of this project Dr BPS Parmar & Co- Chairman Rotarian DrJagdeep Chaudhary told that specialist doctors of heart, ENT, Surgery, Orthopedics, skin, Gynecology, Internal Medicines Skin & Dentistry fields examined 262 patients in this camp. Team of Micro Lab Rupnagar made Laboratory tests like blood to identify sugar, Hemoglobin Blood pressure etc, Bone Marrow Dentistry to check the strength of our bones & ECG test to view the health of our heart were also carried out in this camp. Free Medicines were also given to the patients on the prescription of the expert doctors. Speaking on the occasion Director Harbhajan Singh appreciated the efforts of Rotary Club requested the club leadership to organize such camps in future & assured all assistance in the successful execution of the camp. President of the club Rotarian Sudhir Sharma assured for arranging more specialized camps in future. Dr R S Parmar & Assistant Governor of Zone 5 Rotarian Gurpreet Singh appreciated the efforts of club and college management for making wonderful arrangements in the camp. More than 50 student volunteers of the host college assisted in all arrangements of the camp. Team of doctors & their para medical staff from Fortis Mohali, Civil Hospital Rupnagar, ParmarHospital, Chaudhary hospital & Bajindra hospitals voluntarily attended this camp. Dr Ashish Rana, Dr Seema, Dr Suresh Gupta, DrKanchan, Dr Chhavi Sharma, Dr Riya, Dr Pridhi Negi, Team of doctors from Rotary Club Rupnagar – Dr HN Sharma, Dr Bhim Sain, Dr Kamal Chaudhary, Dr Rajiv Aggarwal, Dr Arti Verma & Dr AnkurWahi examined the patients. Rotary Club honored the members of the college including Directors Baljit Singh, Harbhajan Singh, Principal Manjinder Singh & warden Sukhjinder Singh at the end of camp. College managements also presented momentoes to the members of Rotary Club & Fortis Hospital. Club also presented mementoes to all doctors, para medical staff & the volunteers of the college. From Rotary Club Past President Dr JK Sharma conducted the closing ceremony. At this occasion galaxy of past presidents & members of the club were present.
