Retired PCS, PPS officer appointed as joint directors in Punjab government agency

Punjab government has appointed Parameet Singh, PCS (Retd.) as joint director administration and Mukhwinder Singh Bhullar, PPS as joint director traffic in Lead Agency on Road Safety, Punjab State Road Safety Council, Department of Transport, Govt of Punjab.
Both these appointments are on contract basis.
Mukhwinder Singh Bhullar, PPS (retired) remained SSP and retired as Commandant, 27 Battalion, PAP, Jalandhar on September 30,2024.
Established on December 4, 2020, Lead Agency on Road Safety, Punjab State Road Safety Council, Department of Transport, Govt of Punjab is responsible for coordinating road safety efforts among various departments, implementing government directives, and setting annual targets for accident reduction in the state. The agency is headed by a Director General, and its functions include organizing PSRSC meetings and monitoring the implementation of its decisions.
