Punjab govt exam date clashes with national exams, applicants in dilemma where to go, requests Punjab govt to change the date

Students, job seekers from Punjab are in a confused state of mind, where to go, which paper to attempt after the state government announces the date of exams, clashing with already announced national exams.
Applicants who have applied for various govt posts, courses are in dilemma- where to go, which test to give as Punjab government’s Subordinate Service Selection Board (SSSB) has announced to conduct written examination on November 30,2025 for the post of Audit Inspectors, Junior Auditors (Local audit Wing) , Junior Auditor (Treasury and Accounts) , skill test /type test for senior assistant-cum-inspector on November 30,2025 where as the UPSC has already announced the test for the post of EPFO (prelim.) in advance on November 30. Similarly the CAT-2025 test date on November 30 has already been announced much in advance.
Many students who graduated this year, along with others who graduated earlier, have applied for the CAT 2025 entrance exam as well as various central government (EPFO) and state government examinations for Audit Inspectors, Junior Auditors (Local Audit Wing), Junior Audit (Treasury and Accounts), and the skill/type test for Senior Assistant-cum-Inspector posts. However, the exam dates have clashed, forcing students to miss the opportunity to appear for other exams.
Jogindera, Christy, Margret, Osho, Tony (Name changed) said “we a group of students have passed out from colleges after completing our graduation. We are taking coaching for CAT exam as we had applied for CAT 2025. Many of our group members have applied for the posts of junior auditor. Now, the SSSB has announced the exam on the same day when CAT paper is scheduled. We request the state government to postpone the SSSB exam for some time so that we can go for CAT exam and don’t miss the chance to give exam of junior auditor.
An officer of SSS Board on the condition of anonymity said “ we follow Punjab Public Service Commission. As there were no paper, so the board decided to take the exam on November 30,2025. We have already received various mails from the applicants on this issue. Till date the board has taken no decision. If any changes happen, we will update the same on our website.”
Meanwhile, Chairman, SSS Board Krishan Kumar, IAS said “I’ll check it. Presently I am at Anandpur Sahib on official duty. I’ll get back to you.”
