Ojas Hospital organized free health camp at Sood Bhawan Panchkula

As many as 150 people were screened in a free health camp at Sood Bhawan, Sector 10 Panchkula on Sunday.
The camp was organized by Sood Sabha, Chandigarh in association of Ojas Hospital , Panchkula.
In camp, a team of doctors from Ojas including Dr Gagandeep Gupta from ortho, Dr Sunny Virdi from pulmonology, Dr Gurvinder Singh from medicine, Dr Ritu Tawlar, physiotherapist and Dr Pankaj , medical officer addressed the healthcare needs of people.
During camp the free tests of BP, sugar, ECG,BMD and PFT were also offered.
Dr. Harish Gupta, CEO of Ojas Hospital said that the under our mission to provide the best health care services related to different medical fields , we organized the camp for the benefit of people of in and around area.
Later addressing a health talk on ortho related problem, Dr Gagandeep said that with an advent of new medical technology, age is no longer remain a deterrent for knee replacement surgery. The goal of joints surgery in geriatric population is to preserve independence.”
He further said that situation was different few years ago when geriatric patient used to reconcile to the circumstances and accept a wheel chair or got bed ridden for life. The rapid and advanced innovations in joint replacement and implant technology coupled with hi-tech intensive medical care has now made impossible situation looks possible, maintained Dr Gupta.
