Major Reshuffle at Centre: another Punjab cadre IAS officer goes on central deputation, gets key department

Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the appointments of 35 officers at Joint Secretary/Joint Secretary equivalent level.
In today’s order, Sibin C, IAS (PB:2005) has been posted as Joint Secretary, Department of Health & Family Welfare, from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, for a tenure of five years, or until further orders, whichever is earlier, vice Roli Singh, IAS (RJ:1994).
Sibin C is presently CEO, Punjab.
Two days ago, Dilip Kumar, IAS of 1995 batch presently posted as Additional Chief Secretary, NRI Affairs had also goes on central deputation.He is posted as Director General (Training), Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship by the GoI.
Earlier the Punjab government had granted the no objection certificate to four state cadre IAS officers for deputation at Centre. The four include Tejveer Singh (1994 batch), Dilip Kumar (1995), Sibin C (2005) and Varun Roojam (2004).
Now, the other remaining officers will get their posting orders in coming days after the approval from the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC)
Recently Shruti Singh (2004 batch) has already joined the Centre as joint secretary in Information and Broadcasting Department.
