Prime Minister of Spain, Pedro Sánchez officially declines to join Trump’s Board of Peace. “We appreciate the invitation, but we decline” says Pedro Sánchez on Thursday.
According to him, this decision reflects Spain’s commitment to multilateralism, international law and the United Nations system. It wants the rules to move the same way like earlier and not by a completely individual US-led body.
He gave his opinions during a media conference at the end of the EU summit in Brussels. He also mentioned that the Board of Peace did not have the Palestinian Authority.

India has yet not agreed to participate in the Board of Peace. Officials in New Delhi are still considering the proposal given by United States to join this initiative. Till now, Government of India has not given any official statement confirming it’s participation.
