Seven Day NSS Camp organized by Directorate of Youth Services Punjab,ended

Under the Guidance of Directorate of Youth Services Punjab A special 7 Day/ Night NSS Camp ended today at Youth Hostel Patiala. Dr. Showkat Ahmad Parray, IAS, ADC (General), Patiala graced the occasion as chief guest. MBenith IAS, Assistant Commissioner UT. Vijay Goel, an eminent Social Worker as guest of Honor and Dr. Paramvir Singh, NSS Coordinator, Punjabi University Patiala presided over the function.
Showkat asked the volunteers to follow the teachings of Guru Nanak Dev Ji and respect all the religions. Youth Should not waste time on social media apps like whatsapp and facebook and use it judiciously.
Dr. Paramvir Singh appreciated the efforts of camp organizers and congratulated Dr. Malkit Singh Mann Assistant Director Youth Services, Patiala .thanked all the dignitaries for the successful completion of the Camp.
“Aim of Directorate of Youth Services Punjab is to develop all-round personality of youth,to render service to community at large and to involve a large section of youth in nation building to develop all-round personality of youth” said the officals. They further informed that to keep the Youth aware from various programmer like Drug addiction, AIDS/HIV etc. Various programmes of the State Government are carried out.
