Holla Mohalla Festival will be Organised with Focus on Welfare and Facilities for Pilgrims: DC

The historic festival of Holla Mohalla will be organised with special emphasis on the well-being, welfare, and facilities of pilgrims, said Deputy Commissioner Aditya Dachalwal. He stated that the district administration is fully committed to ensuring smooth arrangements, safety, and comfort for the lakhs of devotees expected to visit Sri Anandpur Sahib during the festival. All necessary departments have been instructed to work in close coordination so that pilgrims can participate in the celebrations without any inconvenience.
In this regard, a joint ardaas was held at Takht Sri Kesgarh Sahib, led by Deputy Commissioner Aditya Dachalwal along with Jathedar of Takht Sri Kesgarh Sahib, Jathedar Kuldeep Singh Gadgaj Ji. The ardaas was offered seeking blessings of Guru Sahib for the peaceful, harmonious, and successful celebration of Holla Mohalla. The Deputy Commissioner said that offering ardaas at the feet of Guru Sahib reflects the administration’s respect for Sikh traditions and its dedication to serving devotees with humility and devotion.

On the occasion, SDM-cum-Mela Officer Jaspreet Singh, DSP Jashandeep Singh, Manager Malkeet Singh, SGPC Member Amarjeet Singh Chawla, Vice Manager Hardev Singh, and Information Officer Harpreet Singh, Diljit Singh Bhinder exective committee member sgpc were also present. The Deputy Commissioner added that extensive arrangements related to security, traffic management, health services, sanitation, drinking water, and information facilities have been put in place. He assured that the district administration, in coordination with SGPC and other agencies, will make every possible effort to ensure that pilgrims experience a spiritually enriching and safe Holla Mohalla festival.
