Cases will be registered for spreading rumors about school holiday-DC Bathinda

Deputy Commissioner B. Srinivasan today take serious note of the false school holiday messages doing the rounds in the city at various social networking sites. These messages falsely spread rumors that the district administration has announced two days holidays on July 26 and July 27 in all the government and private schools of the district.
The Deputy Commissioner informed the media that there is no such holiday announced by the district administration so far. Giving a strict warning to the people who are trying to spread these rumors through the WhatsApp, Facebook, Twitter and other forms of the communication, the Deputy Commissioner said that police action will be initiated against such miscreants.
Srinivasan urged the public not to believe the false social media claims about the hoildays during such heavy rains or other evantualities. The Deputy Commissioner stated that efforts are on to trace the people who are spreading such false information by using the social media and legal action would be recommended to the police in this regard. He pointed out that written orders are also issued to SSP Bathinda in this regard for a strict legal action against the culprits.
