Punjab PCS officer inducted into IAS after retirement

A Punjab PCS officer, Latif Ahmed, has been inducted into the IAS following a ruling by the Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT), Chandigarh.
Ahmed had already retired on July 31, 2025, upon attaining the age of 58 years. He will now again join the service and work till next year.
