Police DAV Public School celebrated Teacher’s Day with zeal

To commemorate the birth anniversary of our first vice president Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, teacher’s day was celebrated with fervour at Police DAV Public School. On this occasion, A special assembly was organized wherein Anshul of class 7th enlightened everyone with the life history of RadhaKrishnan. Amandeep Kaur of class 8th delivered a beautiful speech on teacher’s day. The whole teaching faculty was honoured for making their contributions in the field of education.Students also presented their amazing artwork, prepared for this special occasion their token of love by giving compliments to the teachers. Beautiful greetings made by the children were presented to the teachers .The fun filled afternoon culminated with felicitation of the teachers with token of appreciation presented by the Principal Meena Thapar. Teachers were also honoured for bringing 100 percent result of board classes.
Tata edge also conducted a competition for the students to write an anecdote or few lines on their favourite teacher and the winners were awarded prizes. School Principal Meena Thapar extended her heartiest gratitude to the teachers for nurturing and inspiring the students to follow the right direction .she also appreciated them for their constant endeavors in the field of education. On this special occasion for teachers, Maruti Suzuki driving school offered concession to the teachers to learn driving. A lucky draw was also conducted and the two lucky teachers won an offer to learn driving free of cost. The programme was followed by a nice treat for the teachers as a token of appreciation .The programme concluded with an inspirational and happy note.
