Another senior Punjab cadre IAS officer goes on central deputation

Vijay Namdeorao Zade, lAS (PB:2002) has been posted as Joint Secretary, Department of Defence Production, from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, for a tenure of five years, or until further orders, whichever is earlier, vice Rajeev Prakash, IP&TA&FS (1995), in waiver of the cooling off condition.
Zade is presently posted as Secretary, Expenditure (Department of Finance) and in addition Administrative Secretary, NRI Affairs, Punjab government.
Zade remained on deputation with the Chandigarh administration from May 2021 to June 19,2024. He was posted as finance secretary in the Chandigarh administration.
