The Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee President Harmeet Singh Kalka today dedicated a modern Endoscopy Unit and Mini Operation Theatre at Guru Harkrishan Polyclinic located at Gurdwara Bangla Sahib.
He stated that DSGMC has always made valuable contributions toward the welfare of the sangat in the fields of religion, education, and healthcare. In this continuation, Guru Harkrishan Polyclinic is already well known for providing affordable and high-quality medical services, where facilities such as CT Scan, MRI, Mammography, and various laboratory tests are available at very low costs.
He further informed that with the newly installed endoscopy machine, advanced diagnostic procedures such as Gastroscopy and Colonoscopy will now be possible, enabling timely and accurate diagnosis of stomach-related diseases. Additionally, a Mini Operation Theatre will facilitate more than 25 minor surgical procedures, which will prove to be a major convenience for patients.
Kalka expressed happiness that these facilities are being utilized properly for the welfare of humanity through the sangat’s Dasvandh contributions. He mentioned that while the cost of an endoscopy test in the market ranges between Rs. 10,000 to Rs. 25,000, the same service will now be available at Guru Harkrishan Polyclinic for approximately Rs. 1,000.
He extended special thanks to the Guglani family — Harjeet Singh Guglani, Bhupinder Kaur, and Ramanjeet Kaur — for their significant contribution to this project. He also specially thanked Baba Bachan Singh Ji’s organization associated with Kar Sewa and Baba Satnam Singh Ji for playing an important role in the infrastructural development.

He further thanked Gurdwara College Chairman of Bhupinder Singh Bhullar, Jaswinder Singh Jolly, Dr. Lamba, Dr. Saggu, the entire medical team, and all associates for their support and contributions.
Congratulating the Sangat, Kalka said that DSGMC remains committed to further strengthening healthcare services in the future so that people from every section of society can receive high-quality and affordable medical care.
