GNDU, Punjabi University won the Championships

Guru Nanak Dev University and Punjabi University, Patiala won the Four-day All India Inter-University Track Cycling Women and Men Championships respectively. These championships concluded here yesterday in the Cycling Velodrome of the Guru Nanak Dev University. About 400 cyclists from 40 different Universities participated in these Championships.
While explaining the detailed results, Dr. Sukhdev Singh, Organizing Secretary and Head of Sports Department said that in women section of the championship, Guru Nanak Dev University stood first with 43 points while Lovely Professional University, Phagwara remained second with 20 points. The Panjab University got third position with 15 points and with 5 points RCU, Belagavi remained fourth.
Meanwhile in Men section of the championship, Punjabi University secured first position with 48 points and Guru Nanak Dev University finished at the second position with 27 points. The Panjab University got third position with 5 points and University of Kerala remained on fourth position with 4 points.
