NSS unit of GOMCO Patiala organised seminar on Corona awareness

To sensitize the NSS volunteers about precautions for Corona virus infection and their role in public awareness, the NSS Unit in Government Medical College Patiala organized an interactive seminar for the students.
Professor and Head of the department of Medicine of medical college Dr. RPS Sibia, interacting with the medical students said that the best way of prevention from the viral infection is to avoid repeated touching of mouth, eyes and nose (MEN) but opt for regular hand washing.
However, healthy people need not wear the protective masks and become panicky from the infection. Talking about the role of medical students on this ongoing international health challenge, NSS programme officer DS Bhullar urged the medical volunteers to come forward for public awareness and assist the hospital authorities to tackle this challenge as a part of their hospital duties.
