Student of Mata Gujri College participates in Delhi Parade

Arshdeep Kaur, student of M.Sc. Physics of Mata Gujri College, has participated in New Delhi’s Republic Day Parade.

8 N.S.S. volunteers from Punjab took participation in the Parade of 26th January. 40 students from the universities in Punjab were selected for Pre .R.D and 8 out of 40 students were shortlisted. Among those 8, student of Mata Gujri College was part of the Parade.

On this occasion, Director Principal, Dr. Kashmir Singh congratulated the students and said,” N.S.S provides a platform for students, which helps in all-round development. “These opportunities will be helpful in future for getting jobs”, he added.”

N.S.S. Program officer, Prof. Birinder Singh Sarao expressed that, this student played an important role in N.S.S. She has attended 4 seven days camp and contributed in many different activities.  To provide this type of platform for the students has always been the first priority of the College’s N.S.S. Wing for their better future. Dean Academic Prof. Bikramjit Singh, N.S.S. Program Officer Prof. Rajinderpal, Dr. Naveet Kaushal and Dr. Shaminder kaur were present at the occasion.
