Patiala police arrested two persons; a man and lady spreading curfew related wrong messages

SSP patiala Mandeep Singh Sidhu informed that a wrong whatsapp message was viral regarding curfew that administration cancelled all passes / relaxations and there will be no supply of Food and medicine etc.
A man and lady were identified regarding viral of this message namely Tejvinder Singh s/o Kuldeep Singh, Gurbax Colony, Patiala and lady namely Balvir Kaur w/o Jasvir Singh r/o Gurbax Colony, Patiala. Both are neighbours living in gurbax colony, Patiala.
They viral wrong message regarding curfew and cancellation of relaxations and further No Food Supply, No Langer Sewa Supply and No Medical supply in City. In this regard *FIR No 44 dated 1/04/2020 U/s 188 IPC, 52-54 The disaster management act 2005 PS Lahori Gate, Patiala is registered against both of them. Both are arrested and the mobile phones of both accuseds are seized. Further investigation is going on.
