Lockdown effect-APRO Fazilka resigns owing pressure; fail to serve his ailing parents

When every one is staying with their families, so are the persons who are staying away from their family in this crucial time. Some of those who are staying with their family got frustrated in this short time, but think of those who are staying away, to serve us. Like health, police, sanitation workers, public relations department employees are working overnight to serve us and staying away from their families, ailing parents.

One such officer, Assistant public relations officer in the Punjab Public relations department posted at Fazilka district got frustrated and has resigned from the post, not able to see, serve his family for one month.

In his resignation letter to the Director Public Relations department, admitted that owing to lock down, curfew he is unable to look after his ailing parents, his family at Patiala, resigning from the post. He has written that as he is posted at Fazika which is around 300 kms away from Patiala, he is unable to see his family in this crucial time, as deputy commissioner Fazilka has ordered him to remain in this district headquarters.

He also wrote in his letter that “he is feeling bad, lost his patience and will be able to do job in this condition. He said he had already informed his seniors on phone.

He said he has no grudge against his department, his senior officers as they are cooperative.
