Four new Covid Care Isolation Centres of Level III set up in Punjab

Punjab government has setup four new Covid Care Isolation Centres (CCC) of Level III in Punjab. The new isolation centre are going to opened at Amritsar, Mohali, Ludhiana and Jalandhar.
Punjab govt has converted the Govt Meritorious Schools of Amritsar, Mohali, Ludhiana and Jalandhar and are going to be ready by April 25, 20202.
Senior Medical Officer (SMO) will be the incharge of this CCC of Level III, who is not holding the charge of Covid Care Isolation Centres of Level I or Level II.
As per the CCIC Guidelines at level-1 all patients having mild symptoms, such patients are to admitted at Covid Care Isolation Centres.
As per the guidelines at Level 2-all patients with mild to moderate symptoms, such patients are to treated at district hospitals / government isolation facilities.
As per the guidelines at Level 3-all the patients who are in critical condition and are to be refereed to ICU / HDU/ Ventilator facilities.
It further explained that only when the sample has been found positive , the patient should be brought to the CCIC to be kept under constant observation by trained health care professionals.
