Former Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh not feeling well; admitted to AIIMS

Former prime minister of India, 87 years old  Dr. Manmohan Singh was admitted to the AIIMS here today evening after he complained of uneasiness and he is not felling well, as per the sources. Immidiately after his admission at AIIMS New Delhi, he is put under observation at the cardio-thoracic ward of the premier hospital.

He was admitted under Dr Nitish Naik, a professor of cardiology at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), around 9:00 pm.

As per sources “87-year-old two-time Prime Minister has been admitted to a normal hospital room and not to the ICU (Intensive Care Unit).” Dr Manmohan Singh underwent heart-bypass surgery at AIIMS in 2009.

Dr. Manmohan Singh was the prime minister between 2004 and 2014 and is a senior leader of the opposition Congress and currently represents Rajasthan in the Upper House of Parliament.

Dr Manmohan Singh is an Indian economist, academic, and politician who served as the 13th Prime Minister of India from 2004 to 2014. The first Sikh in office, Singh was also the first prime minister since Jawaharlal Nehru to be re-elected after completing a full five-year term.
