Once again Covid’s evils eye falls of State bank of India in Patiala. Today an officer of its LCPC cell tested covid positive, He is a resident of Ambala and comes daily from Ambala.

After the report of an officer, who tested Covid 19 positive, came, the bank authorities immediately asked the employees of State bank of India, Prgati Bhawan, urban estate phase 3, Patiala, where the LCPC branch is situated, to go for mandatory Covid 19 test. As per sources, around 250 staff members are going for mandatory test. State Bank of India, Patiala, LCPC cell caters the North India-Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu, Kashmir etc., for opening all the new accounts.

The bank authorities have decided to close the branch, till the reports of all the employees come.With this working of State bank of India, in north India, will hamper.

Patiala update; Covid’s evils eye on State bank of India in Patiala. Around 2 days back, 11 employees of State bank of India, Chowk Fort (Qila Chowk) branch at Patiala, tested covid 19 positive. Health authorities had closed the branch for public dealing.

One employee of its RACPC cell (loan branch) , at its main office at sheranwala gate (earlier head office of state bank of Patiala) also tested covid positive, around 2 days back. Later the bank management got their around 30 employees of RACPC cell, mall road branch , who were in close contact with the Covid 19 employee, tested, as a precautionary measure .”All 30 employees of RACPC cell, who were tested for Covid 19 test, tested negative’ informed the bank official”.

Since the inception of corona and opening of banks for public dealings, after the lifting of curfew, employees of SBI- YPS branch, Chowk fort branch, Bhupindra road branch, have already tested Covid 19 positive.
