TSPL celebrates Women’s Day with village women leaders

Talwandi sabo power limited (TSPL) organized a special program on International Women’s Day to felicitate and honour village women leaders and talented women from the community.

International Women’s day is celebrated with much gusto and enthusiasm throughout the world. At TSPL this year women’s day was observed with women Sarpanch and talented women from the community who enthralled the audience with their cultural performance.

It was a unique program aiming towards bridging the urban rural divide, present on the occasion were women leaders from diverse background. The function was graced by women from Academia, Law, Police and Corporate world.

Advocate Dhillon and Chalhal addressed the audience and apprised them of their workplace and other rights while Reenu Procha, Sub Inspector, encouraged women to step out of their homes and make a mark for themselves. She informed them of the police helpline available for women in crisis and encouraged them support one another for real empowerment.

Chief Guest for the function Rupinder Kaur, Principal Police Public School was overwhelmed with the women’s performance and said”, It is indeed an honor to be a part of this program on this special day. I would take this opportunity to congratulate Vedanta for initiating such meaningful programs which lay the foundation for women empowerment.”

Enthralled by the cultural program and performance by the women, Chief commercial Officer TSPL addressed the gathering and remarked , “I am extremely delighted to be a part of this celebration and  assure you on behalf of TSPL that we shall support you in your endeavors towards a brighter and sustainable future.”

The program culminated with felicitation of all the participants.
