Punjabi University honoured its research scholar Dr. Anika Sharma

Punjabi University, Patiala has honoured Dr. Anika Sharma, research scholar in the Department of Zoology and Environmental Sciences as well as her supervisor Dr. Madhu Bala, Assistant Professor in the same department. Awarding an appreciation letter to them, the Vice Chancellor Prof. Arvind mentioned that Dr. Anika was given the prestigious Fulbright Scholarship for pursuing Ph.D. degree which has been awarded to her in the recently held meeting of Research Award Committee.
Dr. Madhu Bala added that it was for the first time in the history of Punjabi University, Patiala, that Nehru Fulbright Doctoral Scholarship was awarded to any research scholar. Anika undertook research at A&M University, Texas, USA with the world’s leading experts in the field of Forensic Entomology.
