DC declares holiday on August 20 under negotiable instrument act

Deputy Commissioner Sangrur Ramvir has declared a holiday in Sangrur district, under negotiable instrument act, on August 20,2021 (Friday) on account of the martyrdom day of Sant Harchand Singh Longowal.
Disclosing this here today, an official spokesman said that all the Government Undertakings, Corporations, Boards and all Educational Institutions, government/ private offices, banks in Sangrur district would remain closed on the 20th of August.
He further clarified that the schedule exams on August 20, 2021, if any, will be conducted as per the program.
