During campaigning Mohit Mohindra faces the ire of residents of his constituency

With the D-day February 20 is approaching, it seems that tough days are running parallel with Mohit Mohindra, Patiala (rural) congress candidate.

Mohit Mohindra who is a scion of Brahm Mohindra family is contesting the upcoming Punjab assembly polls from Patiala (rural).This year congress gave ticket to Brahm Mohindra’s son Mohit Mohindra following “one family one ticket” norm.

Now days he is facing the ire of public, residents of constituency for not taking care of them, lack of development works done by his father and local bodies minister Brahm Mohindra during his 2017-2022 in his own constituency.

Recently, residents of Rohti Mouran village, near Nabha protested against him, when he visited the village for campaigning, to seek votes.

The villagers surrounded him and openly questioned him about the lack of development works done in their village.  The villagers said “we gave our votes to you (Brahm Mohindra father of Mohit Mohindra who represented Patiala rural in Punjab vidhan sabha from 2017-20220) but still facing the problems.

A video of angry villagers confronting Mohit Mohindra at a public meeting on Wednesday went viral. In it, the Mohit Mohindra is seen trying to defend himself but villagers confronted him.

During campaigning Mohit Mohindra faces the ire of residents of his constituency. The other day, he faces the ire of resident at Gobind Bagh, where he was campaigning and seeking votes for himself.

Residents of many villagers are complaining for the lack of development works or no work done in their villages. Even residents of Tripuri town are annoyed with him for the bad quality of work done in their areas. Even the recently built roads are in bad condition.

The quality of work can be gauged from the roads laid around two months ago. With a rain, potholes and gravel that have surfaced on roads in different parts of the Tripuri town, a small city with in Patiala. Even roads surrounding Manjit nagar, Ranjit nagar etc tells the same story.
