Hailing from a humble family of Educationalists, their mother Veena Aggarwal and father Dharampal Aggarwal were both Teachers in Government Institutes.
Anuj, Co founder & MD of Altruist Technologies, did his schooling from Ambala Cantt. Later he did business studies from CBS, the University of Delhi followed by a Masters in Finance. Recently he did LLB from Kurukshetra University.
Anuj’s brother, Dheeraj Aggarwal is an M.B.A. from IIM Calcutta & B.Tech from REC Kurukshetra.
After doing his Post Graduation, Anuj started a small groceries business in Ambala, supplying daily needs. But in the year 2005, Anuj and Dheeraj started an IT firm with an initial amount of Rs. 10 lacs, using the Pension Funds of their parents.
They started the business from the 1st floor of their house in Sector 4-Panchkula.Their first contract was for a renowned company for Himachali Songs. This became a huge success in the field of Value added Services. There was no looking back after that. The office shifted from Sector 4 to Sector 11 Panchkula to DLF IT Park and now to their own premises at Sec 22 Panchkula.
The stupendous growth with the passage of time led to the acquisition of companies. The first one was of Mobile2win in 2009. Till date more than dozen companies have been under the Altruist Umbrella.
Today Altruist has its presence in more than 45 countries across the globe with 10 thousand employees. Pan India they have their presence at Jaipur,Bangalore,Mumbai,Bhopal,Kolkata,Gurgaon and many more…..
Anuj Aggarwal has a very simplistic approach to business. He believes in creating an enabling environment for people. He has worked with various trading businesses picking up vital people skills and commercial acumen. Altruist believes in one thing: every individual has to simultaneously keep on doing three things, one is to do his or her job thoroughly, second is to train someone to do that job after them and thirdly to learn and practice the skill required for next role in life.

As a part of the Corporate Social Responsibility, a small village named Kharindwa, near Shahabad, Kurukshetra has been adopted by them. The principle aim is to make it a MODEL VILLAGE. It has a Charitable school, dispensary and Pathological Lab. CFL bulbs have been distributed amongst the villagers. So the company developed small models in each of the issues like health, education, infrastructure, social harmony, environment, agriculture, employment, governance.
Besides, a Computer Centre has been opened at Sector 4, Panchkula for the Slum children in the vicinity .
