Healthcare Internship for TMBS Punjab Sports University Students

The Maharaja Bhupinder Singh Punjab Sports university (TMBSPS) students are being provided with internship opportunities across various hospitals like Amar Hospital, Phull Neuro and Multi-specialist hospital, Sant Clinic & Maternity Home Fortis facilities where the department has the representation.Internship programs provide students the opportunity to see theoretical concepts in practical aspect. They are provided with extensive training in theory and practical knowledge of applying psychological principles within a clinical setting. Interning for long periods at a stretch gives students greater exposure and opportunity to learn extensively.
Sachin Aggarwal, Arvinder Kaur, Samandeepkaur, Baljeet Kaur & Mapreet Kaur wants to work as Yoga Therapist in Future. While Sachin Sharma & Bhavya Saluja wants to work as Counsellor thus they are doing their internship under the guidance of Dr.Devendar Batra, Batra Clinic & Ruchi Chhibber, Mind Waves Foundation respectively.
“Internship programs are necessary to enhance skills and knowledge of professionals by providing hands on training under the guidance of experienced and knowledgeable faculty. These internship provides students a chance to understand aspects of health and how it is integrated within a general hospital set up.” Says Col.
