Ropar’s Power colony triple murder case- victims Activa recovered

Rupnagar police have recovered an Activa of victims family in the case relating to murder of three members of the same family in Rupnagar Police Power Colony.
It may be mentioned that three members of a family including retired school teacher Harcharan Singh ,his wife Parmajit Kaur and daughter Dr Charanpree Kaur were found murdered in house no.61 of type 4 of local power colony. However,Harcharan Singh’s son Prabhjot Singh was missing along with Activa of the family.
This Activa was found in the bushes near the Budhki river on the back side of the local police lines. Activa was a locked. After the lock was opened, Activa was identified from its Registration Certificate which is in the name of Prabhjot Singh’s father Harcharan Singh.
The entire focus of the police investigation is reportedly on finding Prabhjot Singh. He is considered to be a key link in this matter.. According to the facts that have come to the fore in the police investigation so far, Prabhjot has an important connection in the murder case. Prabhjot had two mobile phone numbers and when the police traced the location of his mobile numbers, both the numbers were working till the afternoon of April 10. The tower location of one mobile phone number was found to in the near DAV School road and while the tower location of other mobile phone number was traced at Kotla Nihang.
