Bharat Sevak Samaj distributes certificates to the tailoring trainees

Certificates were distributed to 22 trainees, who have successfully completed their training at the tailoring and embroidery centre being run by the district unit of Bharat Sevak Samaj, Rupnagar.

Municipal Councillor of ward  21  Inderpal Singh  Raju Satyal was the chief guest of the function held at the local Ravidas Dharamsala .

. While awarding the certificates to the students, Raju Satyal lauded the efforts of the Bharat Sevak Samaj  for imparting skills to the girls and encouraged the students to hone their skills and strengthen themselves financially.

He expressed happiness over the exhibition of garments, made by the students and asked them to organise  exhibition of the garments  and assured all possible help for this purpose. Speaking on the occasion, President of  Ravidas Dharamsala Managing committee Jathedar Bhag Singh expressed his happiness over the social  welfare activities of Bharat Sevak Samaj especially for imparting technical education to the girls and assured them of all possible help in running the centre.

Speaking on the occasion District Chairman of Bharat Sevak Samaj Bahadurjeet Singh said that the main objective of the organisation is to promote social and economic development of the needy and he thanked the chief guest  Inderpal Singh Raju Satyal and Jathedar Bhag Singh for their support in this regard.

At the commencement of the function Secretary of the organisation Rajinder Saini welcomed all and congratulated the students for successfully completing their training course under the guidance of  teacher of the tailoring centre Krishna Devi and appealed to the women ,who want to get training in  tailoring and embroidery in the town  should contact Krishna Devi’s mobile number 77196-81154.

Speaking on the occasion Vice Chairman of the organisation advocate Charanjit Singh Ghai said that this initiative of the organisation is proving to be very helpful for the poor women. Members of the governing body of the organisation Harish Kalra, Satish Jagota and Amrik Singh were also present on the occasion.
