CM pays tribute to late AAP leader Gagandeep Singh Chadha

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Saturday paid tributes to the late Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Gagandeep Singh Chadha at Gurdwara Singh Sabha, Patiala.

Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said that death is an unavoidable part of the cycle of life, but those who do something good for society in their life are always remembered.
Recalling his association with Gagandeep Singh Chadha, the Chief Minister described him as a staunch and dedicated soldier of the party. He said that his untimely demise had not only caused great loss to the Chadha family but also the Aam Aadmi Party.

The Chief Minister said that Gagandeep Chadha gave top priority to his work for the party even when he was suffering from a serious illness.  Mann said that the late Chadha was associated with the common man and he had a desire to do something for Punjab, Punjabiyat and the people of Punjab. Expressing deep grief with the bereaved family, the Chief Minister prayed to God to grant eternal peace to the departed soul and strength the family to bear the irreparable loss.

Chief Minister said that in this hour of great sorrow, he and his party would always stand by the family of Gagandeep Singh Chadha. Describing Zorawar Singh, son of late Gagan Chadha, as a promising son, Mann hoped that he would follow his father’s footsteps and fulfil Gagan Chadha’s dreams.

On the occasion, Gagandeep Singh Chadha’s wife Gunjan Chadha and sister Ramandeep Kaur also addressed the gathering and thanked the Chief Minister and other personalities for sharing grief with the family in this hour of crisis.

On the occasion Punjab Finance Minister Harpal Singh Cheema, Aam Aadmi Party leaders Durgesh Pathak and Rajesh Kumar from Delhi, party state secretary Harchand Singh Barsat, MLA  Ajitpal Singh Kohli, Gurdev Singh Dev Mann, Dr Balbir Singh, Chetan Singh Jorremajra, Gurlal Ghanour, Neena Mittal, Kulwant Singh Bazigar, Harmit Singh Pathanmajra and a large number of Aam Aadmi Party MLAs, leaders and volunteers from different constituencies across Punjab arrived in large numbers and paid their final respect to Chadha.
