Er Punnerdeep Singh Brar assumes charge as Chief Engineer West Zone

Er Punnerdeep Singh Brar, today, took charge as the new Chief Engineer of West Zone, Bathinda of Punjab State Power Corporation Limited (PSPCL). He replaced Er. Massa Singh who has been deputed at Patiala.

Er. Brar had last served as Deputy Chief Engineer (Enforcement) in Ludhiana.

After taking charge, Er. Brar conducted a meeting with SEs and other staff of the West Zone Bathinda and sought their support in achieving the target set by Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann and Punjab power minister Harbhajan Singh ETO.

He said that he will live up to the expectations of Er Baldev Singh Sran, CMD PSPCL and Er DPS Grewal, Director Distribution and will ensure uninterrupted power supply to the consumers during this paddy season.

Er. Brar appealed to residents to help PSPCL in putting an end to the menace of power theft and said that he will take strict action against those who will be found misusing the electricity or stealing the power. He directed his subordinates to keep raiding the areas where there are more complaints of power thefts. He also sought their honest commitment towards mitigating the sufferings of common consumer.

Er. Brar worked for 1.5 years in a public sector enterprise before joining Punjab State Electricity Board on November 11, 1991. He has rich experience of 31 years, especially in operation and enforcement organization as well as in commercial and material services organisation.

Born on December 03, 1968 in Faridkot, Er. Brar pursued Bachelor of Engineering from Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology (TIET), Patiala.
