Arvind Kejriwal’s Delhi cabinet minister resigns

Aam Admi Party MLA and Delhi Cabinet minister Rajendra Pal Gautam has resigned from the Arvind Kejriwal cabinet.
On Wednesday, Rajendra Pal Gautam had attended Ashoka Vijaya Dashami celebrations at Ambedkar Bhawan in Jhandewalan, New Delhi where 10,000 people were supposed to embrace Buddhism. The video of this event goes viral in which they are taking BR Ambedkar’s 22 vows, the crowd had said how they would not pray to Hindu gods and goddesses.
Gautam had at the time said he had a right to practice his religion, as guaranteed under the Constitution. The BJP had demanded Gautam’s resignation after the video emerged.
