Nationwide protest planned for restoration of old pension scheme and regularisation of contract workers

All India State Government Employees Federation and Confederation of central government employees and workers have decided to launch a countrywide movement for restoration of old pension scheme and regularisation of contract workers
About 5000 delegates from different organisations from across the country participated in the convention held at New Delhi today, said by V K Gupta Spokesperson AIPEF on Thursday. The convention was jointly chaired by Subhash Lamba national president All India State Government Employees Federation and Ravindran Nayar Chairman of the Confederation of central government employees and workers.
Subhash Lamba said that all the employees will protest in all the states against the central government’s adamancy not to resolve these issues. In the next budget session the employees will protest before Parliament organizations.
The main demands include the regularization of all contract workers working against regular posts,, restoration of old pension scheme, and release of pending DA. Installments. The government is obliging industrial houses and not listening to genuine demands of workers
