Thapar added another student friendly feature; launches e-library portaland mobile app

Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology (TIET), Patiala, Nava Nalanda Central Library (NNCL) with the association of Refread Solutions, launched e-Library Portaland Mobile App(iOS and Android)on 20th March 2023. This portal was launched by the Director, TIET Prof. Padmakumar Nair.
The users of the Central Library can access more than 233 Thousand e-books, 12 Thousand e-journals, 54 thousand video lectures, 50 thousand conference proceedings, 282 thousand full text e-theses, 2000 thousands presentations, 1800 e-magazines, and 10 thousand expert talks. and other resources easier and more convenient than ever before.
The mobile app offers even more convenience, allowing users to access the e-library from their smartphones or tablets. The e-library and mobile app will offer several features and benefits to users such as easy search, navigation features, personalized user profiles, user-friendly interface that will be accessible on multiple devices.
Many users have already self-registered their accounts on the eLibrary through their institutional email id(@thapar.edu).The Hon’ble Director has set out a mission for the University community to make sure that ‘All the e resources can be delivered to the users through a single platform from anytime and anywhere” which will enhance their academic performances.
