Govt Bikram College’s 307 students ready to realize their dreams; 214 girls, 93 boys awarded degrees

On 31st March 2023, Government Bikram College of Commerce Patiala organized its convocation for the session 2021-22 under the guidance of College Principal Prof. (Dr.) Kusum Lata. The esteemed Deputy Commissioner of Patiala, Sakshi Sahney, IAS graced the event as the Chief Guest. The event commenced with the arrival of the Academic procession in the hall, where the program started with lighting of the lamp followed by Playing the College Dhuni. Dr Vaneeta Rani welcomed the Chief Guest and the others. The College Principal presented the college report highlighting the activities and achievements of the college students throughout the year.

The chief guest distributed the degrees to the students and gave her best wishes to the graduating students and emphasized skills, ability and a positive outlook in life. She mentioned about what important milestone convocation is in one’s life and urged the graduates to be grateful to everyone who helped them and guided them throughout the college years. Every student experienced a range of emotions on this memorable day in their lives as they received their degrees.

Govt Bikram College’s 307 students ready to realize their dreams; 214 girls, 93 boys awarded degrees . Out of theses 35 girl students and 3 boys  awarded M.Com degree. Similarly 160 girls and 77 boys awarded with B.Com degree. Likewise 4 girls awarded with M.Sc (IT) degree. Also 15 girls and 13 boys awarded with BCA degree.

The program concluded with a Vote of Thanks by Prof. Ram Kumar, Coordinator of the event followed by National Anthem. The others present on the occasion were Alumni (Global) Association Members, PTA Members, HEIS Governing Body Members, Dr.  Parminder Singh, Prof.  Gurdeep Batra, APRO Jaskaran Singh Grewal, BP Dhiman, Indu Sharma, Dr.  Baljit Singh, Prof.  Dharminder Singh, Dr.  Sudhir Verma, Harbans Lal  Bansal, Umesh Kumar Ghai, Er.  Sanchit Bansal, CA Rajeev Goyal, CA Ravinder Puri ,Kanwar Inder Singh along with the teaching and non-teaching staff of the college.
